The partnership between leading Memphis home builder and top real estate brokerage aims to drive sales of new construction homes priced at $275,000-$465,000

MEMPHIS, April 19, 2023 – Meridian Premier Homes (MPH), the Memphis metro area’s 4th-largest residential home builder, announced it had signed an exclusive agreement with Coldwell Banker Collins-Maury, one of Memphis’ top-producing real estate brokerages. Under the agreement, Coldwell Banker Collins-Maury agents will list, market, and sell MPH’s new construction homes in the Mississippi communities of Dickins Place (Southaven), Mallard Park (Walls), The Preserve at Cedar Bluff (Olive Branch), Carolina Grove (Senatobia), and Silo Ridge Estates (Byhalia), as well as the Tennessee community of Lochmeade (Atoka).
“We’ve watched Meridian Premier Homes grow over the past several years and are thrilled about this partnership. Meridian is known for its fine craftsmanship, functional floor plans, and beautiful communities,” said Angie Ware, co-owner of Coldwell Banker Maury-Collins. “Coldwell Banker Maury-Collins has served the greater Memphis area for over 37 years. Our residential sales and corporate relocation strengths made us a perfect match for MPH’s growth strategy. Our research capabilities and commitment to customer service made for strong brand alignment. When homebuyers choose a Meridian home, they can be assured that they are getting an amazing experience and home at an excellent value that they can enjoy for many years.”

MPH builds in areas surrounding Memphis that are experiencing growth. In 2022, the company built over 150 single-family homes priced between $325,000 and $450,000. While the company is known for its two-story floor plans with as many as 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and just over 3,000 square feet, this fall, it will introduce single-story floor plans that offer maximum efficiency and a price point more affordable to buyers impacted by higher mortgage rates.
“While the real estate market nationally has slowed, buyers are still out there, and the Memphis market remains severely undersupplied. Given the transformative economic growth in our region, we knew we needed to make a strategic decision for Meridian’s long-term viability,” explained Jeffrey King, co-founder and principal of Meridian Premier Homes. “Choosing to outsource the sales side of our business to the local experts at Coldwell Banker Collins-Maury allows us to stay true to our roots as a home builder and move forward with our aggressive build plan. This is an inflection point. We cannot scale back now if we want to meet future demand.”

MPH’s new construction homes offer the style and function today’s homebuyers seek. Large, open living spaces, modern kitchens and bathrooms, and abundant natural light and storage are hallmarks of the homes. Each floor plan MPH builds features a first-level primary bedroom with en-suite bathroom; 9’-10′ ceilings; a flex-space/home office to accommodate hybrid work; a 2-car garage; and a backyard suitable for entertainment and recreation. Inside, each home features a fresh color palette, granite countertops, high-quality fixtures, and stainless-steel appliances. The company has several completed homes for
buyers seeking to move in immediately. Pre-sales are also available for those wishing to customize their homes.
